The digital signage player is designed to be wall-mounted and can run Windows 10 IoT or Linux embedded operating systems. Axiomtek lists “RDM” software, and in this case, it should refer to the company’s Remote Device Management software designed for smart kiosk modules and digital signage players.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a digital signage player with 2.5GbE networking in most cases this is not needed, for example, if you were to use the device for mirroring content on four displays in different locations. So Axiometek DSP511 player is better suited for more complex use cases with separate 4K content or user interface on each display. “AI precision marketing” probably means spying on customers to optimize sales providing an optimal customer experience for example by connecting some cameras to the USB port and performing video analytics to detect pregnant women, gender, type of groups (family, teenagers….), etc… and show them products that may be of interest. I suppose the AI capabilities could also be leveraged to prevent/lower theft.

Axiomtek DSP511 is available now and a few more details may be available on the product page.
